The Post

What is The Post?

The Post is a monthly story subscription sent via "snail mail" that provides readers of all ages with an ongoing, interactive story they can digest a few pages at a time. The story is written and illustrated by a mother of two. One unique feature of The Post is that it gives its readers the ability to make "choices" at various points throughout the life of their subscription - setting it apart from similar subscription services.

How does the pricing work?

There are 2 primary ways to purchase The Post: Subscription-based and as a one-time purchase. Subscriptions start at Monthly - $7.99 Annually - $79.99 (auto-renew each period) One-Time Purchase start at 3 Month Bundle - $21.99 6 Month Bundle - $39.99 (do NOT auto-renew) Please visit our The Post page for more information and up-to-date pricing.

What ages is it appropriate for?

The Post subscription is appropriate for all ages. The creator and storyteller - Sara - is a mother of 2 and all content is designed to be PG to PG-13. Due of the nature of some of the adventures our primary character takes on, there could be some battles and conflicts. The vocabulary and phrases used will be similar to those used in other works like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Wings of Fire. Fortunately, the 2 -3 pages (and occasional activities) included each month should be just enough to keep you AND your child interested and excited for the next part of the story!

How does billing/renewal work?

All subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period (each month for monthly subscriptions and each year for annual subscriptions) based on the initial purchase date. One-time purcahses do NOT auto-renew, and will terminate at the end of the designated term.

The Portal

What ages is it appropriate for?

Our experiences are designed to bring families and friends closer together through a uniquely designed immersive story. Our content is PG and each session lasts about 75 minutes, so while all ages are welcome to join, we recommend that participants be ages 6+.

How do I book a session?

You can book a session right here by clicking on "The Cabin" and selecting the experience you would like to reserve. Our sessions are currently restricted to single households or "private groups" only - up to a maximum of 6 participants - and pricing is per session, not per participant.

Can I take pictures or videos?

Sadly, no. Our goal is to create the most immersive environment possible for every participant, so we ask that you refrain from taking any pictures or videos once the experience begins.

What is the dress code?

Cloaks, capes and adventuring gear are welcome, but clothing of some sort is absolutely required.

Are there restrooms on-site?

Yes. We have a single, wheelchair accessible restroom on-site.

Is there parking?

There is limited, first-come parking along King Street, and additional public parking available beneath Eastside Flats on the North. Please do not park in spaces marked "tenant parking"

What is a Guild ID?

Your Guild ID is a unique identification code that we use to track your adventuring party's progress through the story. It will be assigned to your "party leader" during your first session together, and used while booking future sessions.

Is it possible to make changes to my party after booking?

Yes, although the experience is much better with a consistent party from session to session. The only requirement is that your group have 2-6 members.

What if I show up late?

All bookings include a 10 minute "grace-period" before the experience session begins for check-in and general preparations. Unfortunately, because of the immersive nature of each session, we do not allow entry once the experience has commenced. If your entire party is late to your scheduled session we will work with you to reschedule your experience for a later date, but cannot guarantee any specific date availability.

What is your COVID-19 policy?

Imaginatium is committed to the health and safety of all our customers and staff. In response to the continued concern over COVID-19, we will be implementing the following policies and procedures until further notice: - All bookings will be single household or "private groups" only - All participants' temperature will be taken at the door (100+ deg will be asked to reschedule) - All particpants and staff will be required to wear masks for the duration of each session - All participants will be required to complete a COVID-19 liability waiver prior to entry - Hand sanitizer will be provided and required upon entry - Participants will be encouraged to wash hands prior to and immediately following each session - All surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned prior to the start of each session

What is your cancellation/reschedule/refund policy?

If you are unable to make your originally scheduled booking, you may cancel it up to 48 hours before the start of your reservation for a full refund. If within 48 hours, we are happy to reschedule your session anytime in the future for free, however we cannot guarantee any specific date availability.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

You bet! Our entire space is wheelchair accessible, including The Cabin and restrooms.

How often does the experience change?

We will be launching Chapter 1 of our new series "The Hidden Lair" beginning Jan 1, 2021. Once complete, groups may choose to continue the ongoing story together as an adventuring "party" by partaking in additional chapters as they are released. We anticipate that each series will contain approximately 8-9 chapters that are made available throughout the year. New chapters and additional series will be available based on demand.

Where can I see my booking?

You will receive an email confirmation upon booking that you can add to your personal calendar or forward to the rest of your party. If you cannot find your confirmation please email us at so we can help!

Can I bring food/beverages into the experience?

That's a negative, Ghost Rider. If, however, you have any special concerns or conditions that require it, please reach out to us at and we will do our absolute best to accommodate!

Is this like D&D?

We like to think of ourselves as a blend between D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) and escape rooms. We often refer to The Cabin as our "Interactive Adventure Room" because it combines original story content with state-of-the-art visual and audio aid and an immersive environment crafted by professional set builders. With that being said, we are definitely fans of D&D, and both love the role of Dungeon Master whenever we have the chance. Feel free to reach out to us at if you're looking for a DM or would like to reserve The Venue for your party!

So is this an escape room?

Not quite. The significant difference between our experience and most escape rooms is that every time you participate in one of our sessions (or "chapters") the experience is different! Not only is the story advancing from chapter to chapter, but it is also affected and influenced by the decisions you make, meaning that even the same chapter may be different for different adventuring parties!

What does RPG stand for?

RPG stands for "Role-Playing Game". RPGs are games in which players assume the roles of characters in a fictional setting and take responsibility for acting out these roles within a narrative, either through literal acting or through a process of structured decision-making regarding character development** **Cover, Jennifer Grouling (2010). The Creation of Narrative in Tabletop Role-Playing Games. McFarland & Company.

How does the Portal work?

Portal is a virtual role play gaming experience, where we bring you into our "story portal", helping uncover the mystery of untold and forgotten stories. All you need is your imagination (and sometimes pen and paper helps!). Great for both solo and group players.

The Venue

Tea and Story Guild

What's the Tea and Story Guild?

At Tea and Story Guild we offer a monthly "micro-chapter" of an ongoing fantasy novel written by our Guild Masters. Each micro-chapter comes with curated tea bag(s) of the month for you to enjoy the story with a nice cup of tea. The Guild was created as part of a larger project, CLOUDLESS and IMAGINATIUM, where the co-founders aim to bring generations together with interactive experiences and original plots.

Why "Micro-Chapter"?

There are several reasons: To have that exciting anticipation for the next chapter to come out To have just the right amount to read during busy times To have the feels for partaking in an adventure together with the charaters (pair it with our Story Bar experience!!)

What type of Tea do you have?

Every month we curate a flavor that fits the theme of our Micro-Chapters. (Current season our selection is from Smith Tea Maker - ) We also have options for - Caffeine Free Teas In very near future we will also have - Kosher Certified Teas

What is the "experience"?

This is the add-on option to our tea+story (or story only) member. For each micro-chapter we offer an interactive session to experience the "untold" portion from the story.

Is this a Cafe?

Tea and Story Guild is not a cafe - but a unique place of experience and retail. All stories are written by the Guild Masters, and our customers can "taste-test" the curated tea at store as self serve (we will provide hot water and cupts), or, purchase to take home. Although we do not serve the teas to you ourselves, we will still hold Food Manager Certificate to ensure we have necessary knowledge and experience.
